REFLECTING BACK:Techical skills I have required

The following skils i have possessed due to my AS year are:

• being able to JVC GY - HM100 and being able to use the functions when nessary
• Knowing all the differnt camera angles and shot types - Low angle,High angle, establishing shot, mid shot, close uo, extreme close up, long shot
• I have learnt the behind the scenes of why props and costumes are used. Its all due to the mise en Scene
• All the differnt types of editings that occur in tv programmes and films e.g elispce: to show the passing of time, Blur, slow motions: to show significants, Match cuts: to highlight the key object/prop the cator/actress has in their hand may lead to
• I know how to use the editing softeware final cut pro - as i know how to add effects and cut clips to what I need to use
• I know that when using final cut pro and a red bar appears you have to render it, meaning that the video needs to rewrite the sequence so the video is formatted the same
• I understand that sound is added in post production - this is so they can enhance sound quality and away of adding tension to a programme or a fim. This could be a motif.
• In addition in the sound department, i am aware that foley sounds are used in the post prduction to enhance the sound on set. This is done by syncing the sound on the screen with the sound effects made in a seperate studio
